A beautiful old building in downtown Salt Lake. It was vacant a few months ago. I was thinking that if I ever needed my own studio space, this is what I want. I love the exposed brick inside and all the natural window light.

We had a dark and stormy day a few weeks ago. Looked like a fun setting for some pictures so I grabbed my son and took off for one of my favorite picture spots (west side of the Salt Lake Valley with a great view of the Wasatch Mountains). Got a few cool ones before the rain started.

I was hoping to take a walk each day at lunchtime and take photos of the city. Unfortunately, the summer has gotten away from me and I only got a few photos. Well, I won't let the cold weather approaching to deter me. A photo a day is my goal!

I was walking into work about 7am. I was in an alleyway between two large buildings and I notice how pretty all the clouds looked after lastnight's storm.

Ok, it's not in Salt Lake...but from a small town below Bryce Canyon in southern Utah.

I took quite a few pictures of the flowers but this one is my favorite. I like the weird colors and the blowouts in the background.

I had a great time learning how to photograph fireworks on the 4th of July. I learned alot for next time and I can't wait to try again.
This is one of my favorites of the bunch (even though it really isn't in focus). I just like it!
